Farm Visit & Outdoor Cookout
We will visit an urban farm on the northwest of Fort Collins and then have an outdoor cookout!
Please let us know before Friday, October 20th, that you are coming. This assists us in planning!

We will start by touring the farm. We can see the vegetable plots and greenhouses, the flocks of chickens, and other animals.
After touring the farm, we will have an outdoor cookout over an open fire. We will cook beef hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire. We will provide the hot dogs, buns, condiments, potato chips, soda pop and water. We will also provide the plates and utensils.
Feel free to bring your favorite prepared picnic foods to share! If you have specific dietary needs please feel free to bring your own food. (note: no kitchen available, outdoor fire only)

We will meet at CSU University Village 1600 W Plum by the office at 4pm.
We will then travel to the farm

WHAT TO BRING
Jacket - in case of cool weather (and it will get cooler in the evening)
If you have specific dietary needs please feel free to bring your own food
SCHEDULE
We will tour the farm and then cook hot-dogs and other treats over an open fire (weather permitting).
4:00pm Meet at CSU U.V. 1600 W Plum by the office
4:15pm Drive to Rhoads Farm 1740 N Overland Trail
4:30pm Tour the Farm
Outdoor cookout
6:30pm Drive back to CSU
