Local Tour and Picnic
Come join us for a tour of the rural countryside, and small towns east of Fort Collins!
We will meet at 10:00am at CSU University Village - 1600 W Plum by the office.
We will travel east on Mulberry Street (Highway 14) to Ault CO, and then to Briggsdale CO for a picnic lunch.
After lunch we will travel south through several other small towns, and then back to Fort Collins.

SCHEDULE
- 10:00 - 10:15 Meet at CSU University Village --Check in & Load Up
- 10:15 - 10:45 Drive to Ault, CO --Stop for coffee and a Geocache
- 11:15 - 11:45 Drive to Briggsdale, CO (through Pierce, CO) --Picnic Lunch at Crow Valley Picnic Site
- 12:45 - 1:15 Drive to Eaton, CO (through Galeton, CO) --Bathroom break if needed
- 1:30 - 2:00 Drive to Windsor, CO (through Lucerne, CO) --Stop for snack (or ice cream)
- 2:30 - 3:00 Return to CSU University Village
WHAT TO BRING
WATER for yourself.
FOOD!!
-bring your own pre-cooked picnic lunch
(there in no place to buy lunch at the picnic site)
-bring your own plates and utensils if needed
SNACKS: enough to last throughout the day
Optional: We will stop at a place to purchase coffee in Ault, and also at a place to purchase ice cream in Windsor. This is optional, you don't have to purchase anything.
