June 1st & 2nd is the Colorado Free Fishing Weekend, so you can fish at any Colorado public water without purchasing a fishing license.



We will fish at Arapaho Bend Natural Area which is located near the intersection of Harmony Road and I25.

   Arapaho Bend Natural Area
   E Harmony Rd & I-25 - Northwest corner
   Fort Collins, CO 80528 USA.

We will park in the Harmony Park and Ride and walk to the pond. The gravel path to the fishing spot is 500 yards.

Bring your own picnic dinner to eat while we are there.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
Yourself and a friend!
You will need to bring your own ready to eat picnic supper, utensils, and water.
Bring a blanket to sit on while you eat.
Insect repellent.


WHAT I (Randy) WILL BRING===
• Fishing rods & reels, one for each person
• Bait for everyone.
• Tackle: hooks, weights, etc

Saturday 6/1/2024 4:30pm to 8:30pm

SCHEDULE
  • 4:30 - 4:45 Meet at CSU University Village & Check In
  • 4:45 - 5:10 Drive to Arapaho Bend Natural Area.
  • 5:10 - 7:50
    • Fishing
    • Picnic supper (any time that during the evening)
  • 7:50 - 8:15 Pack up and drive back to CSU U.V.
(remember times are approximate and will vary, due to driving and weather conditions---we may arrive home later)

TRANSPORTATION
When you register - be sure to indicate if you need a ride.
