Come join us for a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park to see the mountain vistas, the fall colors, and the wild animals!!!

We are planning a picnic lunch, an easy hike, and enjoying scenic overlooks.

Please be aware that we have several vehicles and we cannot guarantee that groups can ride together.  Also, each person should have their own food, as we may need to eat at different picnic tables as available seating requires.

Saturday, September 21st -  8:45am to 7pm (or later)

WHERE:
Rocky Mountain National Park

SCHEDULE:
    8:45 - 9:15 Meet at University Village 1600 parking lot
      Check in & Load Up
      We will leave promptly at 9:15am.
    9:15 - 10:15 Drive to RMNP Visitors Center
      Bathroom Break
      Drive to picnic area
      --Picnic Lunch and Hike
      Sightseeing and Elk Viewing in the Park
      Drive to Estes Park vistors' center.
      --Bathroom Break
    6:00 - 7:00 Drive back to U.V.
(remember times are approximate and will vary, due to driving and weather conditions---we may arrive home later)


COST
   $7.00

WHAT TO BRING
 FOOD!! for lunch--we will eat picnic style. 
   -bring your own plates and utensils if needed
   -bring pre-cooked food
 SNACKS-enough to last throughout the day
      NO evening meal is planned

 WATER for yourself (enough to last the day)

 COAT & warm clothing, hats and gloves (because it is cooler and windy in the mountains)

 CAR SEAT if required for your child

 Camera (and binoculars if you have a pair)
